Game Overview
In Devil's Deathroll two brave souls face off in a sinister duel of dice. A starting maximum (1000 by default) is chosen, and players alternate rolling a single die between 1 and the current maximum. If you roll a 1, fate claims your soul and your opponent wins. Otherwise your result becomes the new maximum that your rival must face. As the numbers shrink the tension grows – every roll edges you closer to oblivion.
Before the carnage begins you can tailor the experience by enabling Twists and drawing Power‑Ups that add strategy and chaos. These optional modifiers let you manipulate the max roll, curse your opponent or cheat death itself.
Twists
Devil's Bargain – Once per game a player may click the "😈 Devil's Bargain" button to strike a pact. Choose to double the current maximum (giving both players more breathing room) or halve it (pushing your opponent towards a quick demise). After you've used your bargain the button is disabled for you.
Cursed Dice, Hellfire Mode & Ghosts

Cursed Dice – Enable this to add a chance (10 % by default) that a roll is cursed. A cursed roll has a 25 % chance of being an instant 1, otherwise it will be between 2 and the current maximum.

Hellfire Mode – After the 10th turn the arena erupts into hellfire. The maximum is reduced by 10 % every turn, making each roll more perilous. The background darkens as the infernal flames lick at the players' heels.

Ghost Roll – On every 5th turn a wandering spirit rolls the dice. If the ghost's number matches the player's roll, that player is haunted and the maximum is halved for the next round.
Power‑Ups
During the game you'll occasionally receive one‑time consumable power‑ups. They're divided into common (more frequent) and rare categories. A bias slider controls how often rare power‑ups appear.
- Lucky Charm 🍀 – Increases the current maximum by 25 %, giving you a wider safety net.
- Reverse Curse 🛡️ – Grants immunity to the next curse or ghost haunt. The next time a curse would take effect it is completely negated.
- Soul Shield 🔰 – Wards your soul against the worst fate. If your next roll would be a 1, you reroll and get a number 2 or higher instead.
- Steal Bargain 😈 – Lets you steal your opponent's unused Devil's Bargain. Once stolen, a random pact (doubling or halving) is immediately triggered.
- Skip Turn 💨 – Skip your next turn entirely. Ideal when the maximum has been whittled down to a dangerous level.
- Double Trouble 🎲🎲 – Roll twice and keep the higher result. When the maximum has already shrunk to 2 or less, this power guarantees a 2.
Use these dark gifts wisely – timing your twist or power‑up can mean the difference between salvation and eternal damnation.
